I headed out early to try and beat the wind, which was mostly a fail. I paddled my kayak all the way into the SE corner of the lake where it flows into a small creek, this area was mostly protected and allowed me to fish without being blown around too much. Got a small largemouth on my 2nd cast and thought it was going to be a great day. Unfortunately I didn't get anything else back there except some dink bites that were probably panfish of some sort. I ended up just letting the wind blow me along the shore back toward the launch and found a couple of spots where the mud came up enough to beach the kayak on. I got one more small largemouth doing that and then called it a day. The wind was really picking up at this point.
