Stevens is a very tough lake to fish in the afternoon. Started at noon and didnt get a strike until 2:45pm. Wire was down with one rod at 42 and the other at 32. The the only strikes I got were at 32. 3 fish within an hour and the bite turns off right after that. Threw tons of combos at em but couldn't get anymore willing biters. I'm sure the morning bite is far better but I just can't do that on the weekdays. Anyways, it's always nice to bring home something. Fish are nice and plump averaging 13-15 inches.

Gear used: Dick Nite Dodgers in Watermelon pattern.
Lures: Macks Lure Kokanee Pro mini in Green.
Scent: Sand Shrimp oil (corn soaked)
Bait: White Shoepeg Corn

Dj, I fished that morning 7:30 to 12:30 with no luck. Nice going out there!

Dj, was that you I talked to out there? I was in the kayak. I picked up only 1 and it wasn't until about 630 running back to the ramp. Only bite I had.

Barry- you are right man, can't complain. They are very picky now. But I managed.

Eddie- not even a take down? They are very finicky right now.

Eglseder- I saw you put on your kayak but I never stopped to talk as I was trolling towards the launch. Glad you got into one out there. The wind picked up later which made it tough for me to troll.

Think they may be very weather sensitive.
