We were using crappie nibbles. Any suggestions on other bait?

Just use a simple 2 inch crappie jig or a 2 inch power minnow on a 1/16, 1/32 or 1/64 oz. jig depending on the wind. We just cast them towards shore in about 3 FOW, let them sink to the bottom and slow jig them out to about 10 FOW. Any fallen tree along the left side of the lake going down river was holding fish on Friday. We did not need to tip our jigs with anything, chartreuse and green/black were the best colors.

You should have your license taken away from you. Most disappointing report I have read in a Long Time. No pun intended. Shame on you.
