I fished the main lake at Cda yesterday, mainly in the middle portion of the lake, with decent success. Although I only managed to catch and release 3 pike, they were all fat for their length and great fighters. I was able to locate several other fish during the day but they were not all cooperative enough to bite. I had quite a few follows, and unfortunately I managed to lose two fish that would have exceeded the ten pound mark. I got a hook into both of them and enjoyed the fight only to see them come unhooked at or near the boat. Main lake temps were 62 to 68 degrees, and the fish were mostly in 5 to 8 feet of water. Got two on frogs and one on a spoon.
