6/6/2016 3:25:00 PMI don't know what it was like there Saturday, but Sunday was almost impossible once the pleasure craft were out in full force. The worst is the guys wake-boarding. 2-3 foot rolling wakes tossed my kayak everywhere. Made me pop the downrigger clip even a few times. Luckily I got my limit pretty early Sunday, but even then when I was leaving they were already turning people away. I've seen people still fishing there but never asked any of them how they were doing. Looks like it works well! Nice report!

Do you know is Ki worth fishing from the shore next to the road.
It looks like it is shallow with a real gradual slope out?
FYI the secret lake fishing sucks with the nice weather. Can't wait to see what happens when the weather turns this week.

We were fishing from my buddys bass boat. you can get a good chance to fish from shore at Wenburg Park on the North West corner (north of the swimming area) if you walk to it. its kind of a small peninsula at the park. Also, Like Ki you can fish from shore. Id use 1/2oz of weight to make sure you get a far cast though because your right, its a pretty shallow gradual drop by the shore. I might be out at the secret lake this weekend as well to see how its going there as well. Also i read your posts about the man who wont shut up haha he was talking my buddies ear off last time we were there. anyways see you out there maybe! good luck!
