Got on the lake about 7am. Wind was pretty calm till about 9. Headed left from the boat launch and caught my first of 6 12" guys on a jackal flick shake worm, about 3ft out from the back lily pads. All but one took it on the first or second drop. All the little guys were caught on the same worm excpwtmformonenwhich was caught on a 1/4 oz white buzzbait. I was at the north end of the lake almost at shore casting south into the pads. Hit it like a hawg, but was a little guy. Then worked my way around the lake and found a great little area that was outta the wind. It was about noon now and I had caught all 12" guys. It was pretty windy now so I just put my little baby has boat in the pads and cast into the spot and bam. 15" and really close to 3 lbs. he hit the same jackal worm which I fish on a wacky wheedles jighead. This was only my second time on the lake, and I had to get home, but info stayed a couple more hours I feel like if I switch to flipping a jig I would have had a great change to catch a big fish. I know there have been 5-8 lbers pulled out recently on buzzbaits. This may be my fav little bass lake in snohomish county. No pics I hate taking selfies, and my go pro didn't come yet from Amazon. I did find that the same pattern worked 5 days previous to today. 3-4 ft out from the pads and boom. Got 4 12" guys that day, and 2 missed my buzzbait. I'm going back tomorrow morning and hope to have a little better luck than today with size. Everyone else I talked to on the lake was having a much harder go of it than I was. But wacky worms always catch bass right...

Sounds like a good day. And 15" is a good bass there.
