My buddy Jason and I set out to catch the 5:22 PM high tide change. At 5:10 Jason got a nice king on the line. After netting the big fish we weighed her in at 20#'s. He caught her with a white/glow Hot Spot and 3.5 silver Coyote spoon right in front of the new break water in front of the launch in less than 100' of water. About 15 minutes later I got a fish on my line. After a couple of good tugs on the line we got a smaller king up to the boat and netted it. A nice little 5# blackmouth. Once again, the smaller king was caught right in front of the launch in less than 100' of water. My fish was caught on a white/glow hoochie behind a white/glow Hot Spot.
