It was a wet day at the Hollow today but the fishing has definitely stepped it up a notch. Aaron and I had the boat in the water and fishing by 6:20am. Within 20 minutes we had lost two fish... which caused me to change leaders on both rigs to gamis. That helped as we finally got one of these darn pinks into the boat. Fish were hitting for us at 50-55 feet. We had good action until 8:45 and then it died off until 10:20 when we caught another fish at 50 feet. We fished until noon and called it a day. Total fish - 3 in the boat on 10 take-downs. LT at AM, HT at 11:48am. White flashers and pinks hoochies (large) with herring strips. Slow troll speed, most caught trolling south. Thanks for a couple nice days of fishing Aaron!

Hey Mike,

Thanks for the report. I'm off work today and was hoping you would let us know how it went this morning. Sounds like they're kinda in. If I remember correctly when they are in there thick, you can take two or three limits in a couple hours and cant keep em off. I'm hoping those conditions come here in the next couple days. Maybe the rain will help. I'm taking Friday and Saturday off and will be out there both days at first light. I’ll post the results. Thanks again Mike. Good to hear you boated some fish. I have lost many pinks out there and it's frustrating. Soft mouths I guess. Have a good week.
