Well I thought I'd go out and try a little halibut fishing this morning. When I launched at Everett it was cool and overcast, but no wind or rain. I made the 45 minute run to Mutiny bay, and joined the other 4 boats drifting in the area. I didn't catch any fish, and eventually I got rained and snowed on, but I still enjoyed being on the water. It was my first local halibut experience and I will definitly give it another shot or two. In another week or so we can add lingcod and cabazon to our target list. Put on your rain gear and go fishing, it's better than watching it on TV. Good luck Mark
