Alright...back to reality for me. After a great opener in 7 north, hit 7 south today for ling. I usually don't fish 7 south, but I was there for the shrimp on Sat. (BTW, shrimp was slow, 10-12 per pull, half from last year). Pretty much threw everything but the kitchen sink, and only two C&R rockfish. Oh well, just goes to show anyone can get lucky!! Might try again Wed/Thu depending on weather... I did see the checker at Cornet Bay checking quite a few ling right around 26".......hmmm...

This sub-26" stuff has got to change. I think part of it is due to the HUGE tides we're having right now with the new moon. Edmonds calls for 14 and 15 foot tides in the tomorrow and the next day. Tides for the next 6 days aren't good. I think this makes a huge difference in the size of fish and quantity. Just my .02. Thanks for the report RwR. KTK

Atleast you are out there getting your line wet. I battled the lakes on Sunday and it was a joke. Lots of fish but also lots of morons.
