Went out with Floatube1 from the forum.... with the intent to drop the crab pots. We dropped them just off of North Beach.
2 crab pots, and 2 rings.. from 1:00 pm until about 6:00 pm, We only got one keeper rock crab, honestly only witnessed about a half dozen female barely if legal size dungeness. Really a poor day for crabbing.
During the mean time we bottom fished. We boated a butt load of flounder, a couple of dogfish, sculpin, etc.
Brandon did catch one rockfish from near the reef. Lucky break being that one non-targeted rockfish is legal,, so cool for him. I had never even seen one. With that I had to give it a 3 star rating. Nice time out, thanks Brandon.

Probably saw a half dozen boats crabbing in the same area. Last year this area was the bomb for me. But this year the boats I've talked to from the Shilshoe area have all done poorly, that a shame.
