Decided to fish Crescent Lake on an overcast Sunday afternoon. There were quite a few water and jet skiers on the lake, but I launched anyway. Went down the shoreline fishing any place where weeds bumped up against wood structure. The second dock I fished I hooked up with a bass that was probably two pounds on a black and blue jig and pig but it went under the boat and jumped a couple times and threw the hook. About an hour later I landed a 3lb. bass on the lure while fishing an old decrepit looking piece of dock. This was the biggest bass I've seen in this lake.
