TomS joined me, so we ran to Hein Bank to give it a try. Not quite so many trailers as Friday, but still had to park outside on the road. A bit bumpy getting out there, then the water/wind settled down and it was like a pond!
We fished herring off spreaders for most of the day. Easily got down with 16 ounces though I had 24 on for part of the day. Tried a number of drifts over the bank. Drifted East for part of it, then the drift changed to almost North/South.
We ended up getting two little guys, one about 25 and the other about 20 pounds. The smaller one hit a herring with a squid over it. The bigger one was caught later, on a salmon belly strip off a spreader bar.
