After noticing WDFW planted Angle Lake on the 26th with
4000 RB's (so they say) I decided to give it a shot. I took the girlfriend
along for company in my boat. We did one lap around the lake
to no avail. Where are the fish? Angle usually boils over
just after being planted. And you can usually knock'em dead trolling
right on the surface with my favorite weapon, the frog colored
Flatfish. Go figure!?
Talk to some other boats on the water and they were doing
as good as us, zilch. Maybe the water temp on the surface
was to cold still (46 degrees) for them to be on the surface at the time.
Oh well, maybe next time.
