I've been reading the reports that people have sent in on Beaver Lake and I'm not sure what the problem was for these folks because I've been fishing this lake for a couple of years and have caught several nice fish. My stepson and I were there today for about 3 hours and put 10 fish in the boat, 9 of which were over the 13 inches.
In my opinion Beaver Lake is a good, year round lake with plenty of big trout and other good fish. However, it's just like every were else, you just have to take the time and watch for what the fish are doing and I know you'll catch some fish that will surprise you.
