Lake Williams late season fish off was magical! In the 12 hours of trolling I caught 59 trout! Under special regs, the state is rehabbing the lake, all fish were keepers! Caught a lot of sunfish. That's a trout every twelve minutes average! Not to mention the time I took off to get more worms, clean fish, and remove pesky sunfish from my gear. Caught one monster triploid that fought like a salmon with the spectacular aerial displays and running the gear out. ZZZZZZ went the reel! Another triploid broke my leader in one of his aerial displays. I couldn't run around the lake much since I just had the electric motor but it turned out just fine. This is a quality trout fishery and I applaud the state for keeping it that way. I popped the trout in the smokers and enjoyed them for the next couple of weeks.
