Took my kayak to Brown's Bay just north of Edmonds. I found a trail close to the water near the old dock/oil business. It was a easy access for the kayak and easy crossing the railroad tracks. The beach is close. I fished directly 50-200 yards out. 18 flounders, 3 with good size between 10 am and 1 pm. Great fun!

Keep that spot in mind come Sept. Browns Bay was stellar for Silvers last Fall and forecasts are for even more Silvers this year. Get that Kayak out there in early Sept and load the rod with a flasher and squid or even just a plug cut herring! You dont need to be that far out. A charter boat skipper told me 30 years ago that early Silvers tend to run east until they hit shallow water at Browns Bay. Then they just kind of mill around for awhile until they get there bearings and then they head back into deeper water. I've found that to be true.
