8/4/2013 8:11:00 AMI just did my research and the area I was fishing is considered Ebey Slough. I checked the regs for that and up to 2 trout can be retained. So the area was misinformed.

8/4/2013 10:29:00 AMI think I seen you out there, congrats!!!!. but Ebey slough starts at the rail road bridge in Marysville. there is a min. size of 14" too That is still considered 8-2

8/4/2013 12:33:00 PMThe regs on this confused the heck out of me initially. Basically, the Snohomish River and all sloughs are both freshwater and saltwater (8-2). The demarcation line is the railroad bridge that crosses each body of water. As mentioned previously, saltwater allows for zero retention of trout and fresh water allows up to two trout, minimum 14". Of course, both areas have there own tackle regulations too. I threw together a graphic of the area to better display where the two zones are.

8/4/2013 2:03:00 PMThanks for the info fellas. FishCaker that map really helps alot. This area is very tricky but I have a better understanding of the boundary lines of the slough and 8-2. All in all what a great area to fish. I look forward to fishing for the pinks here in a few weeks. Once again thank you guys for the clarification!
