This is a two day report:

Saturday headed out to Mulkiteo beach and launched the toon during high tide. Stayed close to the beach trolled in about 6o-80ft of water with pink wiggle hoochie and 8inch sling blade. Didn't catch any but saw lots of fishing going airborne. I was pushed off the water due to Choppy water and clueless boaters. I won't be back out there.

Sunday (today) I went to Kayak Point and fishes from the shore with 100 other anglers. Saw a few fish roll and hooked 1 jigging pink squad but pinching barbs makes it hard to land fish. After that I didn't see anymore fish roll and no takers. Fished the incoming tide and hooked that one on the slack tide. They are coming, just not as thick yet. A couple more weeks and I think we will be in full swing in this area. Tight lines!

P.s - if anyone has an extra seat on their boat and is heading out on the weekend I am willing to join and pay for gas! Tight Lines!!

I was at Kayak yesterday. it was dead;...we didn't see any rolls, but I did hook up with a big one, but lost it near the shore. Looked like an early coho...at least 8 lbs. Just a bit of slack got created and hook slips out. Dang barbless hooks! I'll be back out there soon.
good to hear that you saw some rolls today and had one on. Anybody else there get any?

Ya a couple of fellas on the dock had 2 earlier before the tide was at its highest point.

I was out in that mess, if could have gotten closer to you I would have waved. Your a brave man my friend. My 19" was bouncing hard.

Hey DJ lets hook up. Weekends out there are a zoo. Are you ever available during the week? We have been doing really good fishing "humpie hollow" Mukilteo to Shipwreck, and over by Satchet Head/Indian Point area. Pinks will be out there for another month and then the cohos should be coming thru. Broke my boat yesterday but should have it back by the end of next week. Let me know.
