Fished Rattlesnake opener , on the water before 6 am three of us were dragging around olive colored Wooly Buggers size 8-10 Two of us were using a light weight type 1 or 2 camo clear line another on floating line . We all had at least 10 fish each before 7 am . Most fish were near the surface with ample amounts of surface takes . Between us we got 3 fish over 18 inches and many fish over 15 inches probably over sixty fish returned between us by 9 am .Very productive opener but crowded with 25-30 boats on the water at once . Everyone seemed to co-operate pretty good with each other . All told it was an excellent opener and the lake was nice and high ,the fish happy (except those being taken home of course but those made for happy fishermans families)
