I fished the east side of Possession this morning. Started fishing around 6:15 am. There was lots of birds and bait on the surface again near the bait box, but every fish I got was a shaker. Biggest being about 14" or so. I was trying to check my line every 5 -10 minutes and had a shaker on each time. Some times I could tell there was a fish on the rod, but other times not until I reeled up to check. I tried different depths, lures, and speeds but would still get shakers. I headed back to the dock around 10am. I am guessing farther west was the hot spot today, as there were several boats heading back to the marina around 9am. It was a nice day on the water though.

Sorry, relatively new to the NW and fishing up here. What's a shaker?

A shacker is a small fish, it just shakes your line but doesn't release from the downrigger clip. They are normally small trout sized salmon.
