Fished the Sky just above the Tualco Loop launch from 8:00 - 9:30 Labor day morning. There were plenty of pinks in the river and they were cooperating. After I figured out that a floating fly line with a sparsely tied pink clouser was the ticket, I caught 9 fish in about an hour. Hooked and lost a few more. The fish were hitting the fly hard and deep and they not subtle about it. I could watch pods of fish coming up river and these fish were fresh. The gear fishermen were catching also but I think the flies were more effective. About 9:30 the catching slowed and then pretty much stopped so I left.
