I started fishing around 10am and quit at 6pm. I took home a jack silver and turning male silver. I let another jack and a pink go. For some it was a hot place to fish. A few silvers were caught but mostly pinks. I used eggs most of the day but caught the bigger silver on a red corky and red yarn. The water was down from yesterday but still a brownish tint.
I was next to a guy who caught a chrome silver. He thought it would weigh 9 lbs. This other gentleman and I thought it would weigh 12 lbs. It was fun watching him catch it because the line broke as he brought it to the bank out of the water. He realized the line broke and started to grab for it and the fish was wiggling up the bank toward him. He was grabbing, scooping, and tossing to get that fish away from the water. He did and he took it and a few more home. It was a good day even if I didn’t get a whole bunch of fish.
