Fished at Trailmarker #14 near Sumner bridge. Great place to drift. Mud bottom with no snags, and the river was only about 25' across. Didn't see or catch anything, but come salmon time I will be back!

Aug. 16th is when play time really begins, i mean, when the river has 10,000 people per quarter mile

I'm really wondering if the fish will even be in the river by the 16th. They seem to have arrived late everywhere else this year. Hopefully we will get a few days of rain just before then to help them find their way. Going up to the Green this weekend near Palmer, so I'll report on the steelhead situation on Monday.....

there will be fish my buddy lives on the pu we were watching the torpedos come thru lol.there wont be alot of fish to begin with but be patient ur looking for two bites .last time it opened early it was awsome but this year everything is behind course .i like to call all the fisherpersons fishing in a line fence posts cause thats what they look like .hey toni maybe we can hook up on the puyallup and do some fishin.ive got a good spot .no humpies to hold us over this year but u cant have everything .last year i took kings up to 28lbs ,got broken off by some nasty ones that opted for freedom .anyway maybe we should all wear our nicknames on our shirts so other washington lake people would recognize us maybe help each other out lol anyway im gonna work the redondo dock till opening day.
hit me up toni
