i got a new job in Fife working swing so i have been driving along Levee road on the way to work have have been seeing more fish each day moving up, so i figured i would try down low for a change. I actually started at the bike track with the fly pole but still no fish. I did have one fish hit it a few times but it felt like a small trout, i didn't even jerk . Then i went down on Levee road as far down as you can go, i only saw three fish the whole time though. I used flies, plugs, corky and yarn and bobber with a yarny under that. My boots for my waders have felts on them, but i was getting pretty crappy traction on the rocks so i wire brushed them and that seemed to help out a lot.
