Went to the wallace with a friend today for some steelhead. We started up at the hatchery but there was to many people so went to the mouth. We saw 2 guys that each had a fish leaving the hatchery. When we got to the mouth this older guy was walking out with a fish and said he landed 4 others and saw a couple caught. We found a whole bunch of chums and they kept us busy for the rest of the day. We didn't get to set on steelhead once we found those chums. We fished from 915 to 5 or so. we caught them on pink and purple jigs. purple, peach and pink yarn. we both probably landed close to 20 fish each and lost a whole bunch. out of the 20 probably 10 were really fresh. I'm going back up there tmro with a couple people
