Fished the little spokane today because its really close to the house and i wasn't sure if i would be able to get out on any ice. Fished for a about 2 hours caught a sucker that really got me excited because i thought it was a trout,that was just over 4lbs usually i don t really like catching them but this one put up a fight. My friend missed one and then we ran out of worms so we left. used worms with a slip sinker rig, saw a lot of deer, ducks, and a beaver. All and all it was a nice day out fishing.

nice what part of it were you on.i would like to try to find a way in the chain lake part

Somebody earlier said that the Sullivan Rd. area is a good access point...Is that true? The park there seems a bit high above the water...Access is an iss for my because I'm disabled. Would love to hear any suggestions on the Spokane river that has good access!

The access right now is pretty hard to get too. we had to hike a ways from the park (which im not sure what road is on but i will check next time). However, after the snow melts and the water drops the access might be easier because there is a trail. I will keep you posted next time i go back
