My girlfriend and I arrived at the lake at about11:40am. The wind was blowing but we tried it out anyway. The first spot we tried brought us no luck even though the guy in the float tube said it was a good spot. After about 4 hours of fishing we finally had enough of the cold wind so we packed up and started walking to the car. On the way I seen this spot which was blocked from the wind. I convinced my girlfriend to let me try out the spot. After my first cast it took only 20 minutes before I had my first fish on the stringer. It was only a 10 incher but good enough! My girlfriend got in on the action and got her first fish ever!
