hit the sky at the mouth of the wallacce. humpies are thick in the shallows. most are not worth keeping although there are still a few decent ones moving around. saw quit a few silvers jump at one spot, and fished them for an hour or two. could only hook pinks though. about 1230 we started back to the truck. we always check the holes on the wallace on the way up, and came across 2 coho holding up under the railroad bridge. tossed our squids at them for a minute and hooked this monster. it was pretty dark. the fight was good, but not what i think it would be for a fresher one.
im hoping that the rain this week will wash away some of the pinks and bring some silvers up in numbers. probly be somewhere on the sky next weekend getting tired of the mouth of the wallace, think ill try my luck a few miles down stream.

hit the mouth of the wallace sun 10/11. Whole buttload of ugly zombie pinks, but found 1 decent spot where the fresh ones were still moving through. I was lookin for silvers, of course, but after catching all day, went ahead and kept a couple decent hens for the smoker. Come on rain!
