5/16/2010 5:06:00 PMSlowing just in time? Bs they are just comming in for the next run. The next couple of weeks will be heating up I bet ya. I just ordered some things to tie up some jigs myself. I hope I get the same luck you did on your own. I never got one on a jig set up yet. So hopefully it will be on my own that my first one comes. Ive tied up some nice looking yarn eggs already and got fish on but never landed with my own yet. My next trip will be next week or the week after. Then its time to star hitting the green.

5/16/2010 6:07:00 PMNice catch BS. I went the other day and only saw 1 guy land a summer run, about 10#s. I didn't think the summer steelhead were that big. Where were you at? I don't recognize the location from your pic. Hey Pooh, let me know when you head out to the Green, I have yet to catch any fish from that river.

5/16/2010 6:09:00 PMNice fish big smooth! And on your own jig, props! No luck with the springers for me either. Gonna try to head down there next weekend. Hopefully the rains will bring some fish up. Got some new weapons I wanna try. Thinkin' i should get back into tyin' my own jigs too. It's alot cheaper then 2-3$ a pop at the stores. Haven't done it in a while but I don't think it'll be a problem. June's right around the corner so it's time to get prepped. Good luck out there.
