Went the Skok before work this morning and did pretty well. Was slower then usual but still had about a dozen fishes on. One legal buck about 15lbs. Had my light action St Croix 9'6 on 10/8 PLine so i'm pretty you all know I lost more then I landed. Went 3/13. 2 Native released and 1 hatchery for the grill. Was there from 7ish til noon. Seen only 2 other fish kept in the hole I was fishing. In the morning nets will out at 7am so after work (5:30), I will be on my way once again. Hope to see you guys there. Tight Lines!

When you mention "nets were out" are you talking about the Indian nets. Do you or any one else know where we can find out when the Indians are setting up there nets. I fish the Quilicne River for silvers. When the Indians have there nets out there are few if any fish in the river. It would be nice if we could find out what days and times the nets will be out before we drive all the way out to the rivers..

You can go to the skokomish tribe website, click directory, then fisheries, then regulations, and see when it's legal for netting (they set their own rules). If it's open, there will be nets out.

Nice report, and if you don't mind me asking, where were you?

I talked to some elders from the tribe last night on the Skokomish. They told me the nets are out monday - friday. During the silver runs sometimes 7 days a week it depends. But yeah check out their website.

Nets out, should mean nets out of the river, as nets in would mean nets in the river. Just as donman put it. Thanks for the report.

Ok, read his comment wrong. But thats my point its confusing to refer to "nets out" as nets in the river. :)
