9/29/2010 6:27:00 PMREMEMBER! The year long parts are selective gear rules. The deschutes is a nice river, alough, as some of you may seen in my report, difficult to fly fish because of trees galore!

9/30/2010 9:12:00 AMDeschutes is right in my back yard, and yes normally tons of salmon this time of year. I have been looking every day for the past few weeks and have only seen one. I checked the holding pen at the falls two weeks ago and they were stacked up in there. Should have seen more by now. Maybe low return or release numbers, maybe late? At least the trout bite has been good lately.
