hit 3 rivers yesterday- satsop, humptulips and the nisqually... Satsop was slow but it was fun finding different holes to fish, the Humptulips was on fire but by the time we got there couldn't really get a good spot but did manage to pull in this 18lb.. surprising how good the flesh was when I cleaned it. And finished the day on the nisqually~ it was a slow day there from what people said but again could't think of a better way to spend a rainy day with the wife out of town! keep the lines wet

ps. we took the pic on the Nisqually because it was raining too hard on the hump to take the picture there.. any suggestions on a better way to access stevens creek on the hatchery side?

Hey Jerame, I was below you on the gravel bar a bit down river and across from all the folks on that bank catching fish every cast- and yes, my truck is in pain as I don't have 4 wheel drive and just about didn't make it out and need to take it in for a steam cleaning..my buddy went today and said it was almost blown out but should be back in shape in a few days.. I may head back Wednesday early before work and try my luck again.
thanks for the response

Nice fish, I got 3, 1 Mon, 2 Tue last week down below Stevens Creek. Got 1 Yesterday with tons of fish moving and fresh Coho flying through. As for accessing Stevens Creek, the best way to park at the hatchery and be there at about 4:30 and not wait for the sun to come up.
Where were you on the Satsop? I have fished it a lot in the past but not in a couple years.
Hump was in awesome shape yesterday and should be in perfect shape today, this weekend will have it back low and clear but that didn't make much difference last week. Chinook have vanished for now, late run should be on it's way soon. Netters go in down river so expect fishing to get slow for a while but still plenty of fish to be had.
