well thank you Toni for the good directions got to the Puyallup today around 12-1 as for temp cold and water also cold fished bobber for a while nothing then moved to spoon nothing then to the corky and yarn and guess what I caught the trees across the river and also a branch in the water other then that nothing only say a few caught on the bend and looks like one was kept the others looked like boots but I was still away down stream from them. tested my new pole works good now if I can master the bait caster I will be set. I tried all colors even mixed them up a bit orange green pink corkies same mixture to see what I could get I just wanted to have some fun and not think about all the money I spent for the holidays on the kids ouch and that did work for a while. I will try it again this time I will be out earlier. to see what I can do. water seemed low and clear to me I am not sure what the typical conditions are in this spot!

When you were there the CFS for the river was around 1700. It does go a lot less(when cold without the rain and snow in the mountain). It also gets a little clearer. I use to say that it was so clear the fish saw me get out of the car. At least you saw someone getting fish.
