My fishing buddy, his girlfriend and I decided to go to sultan and do some plunking on the skykomish river yesterday. We were just down river from the mouth of the sultan river. I had an orange spin n glo with eggs and shrimp tail, my buddy had a white and yellow spin n glo and eggs, and his girlfriend and a metalic purple spin n glo with eggs. We were on the river from about 9am till 2pm, and only had one good hit on the white and yellow spin n glo, but lost it.
Overall a fun day, even though it was very cold out (20 degrees in the morning). The sultan is still puking out muddy water, not as bad as it was 2 weeks ago when we were out there, about 2 feet of visibility now.
