Ug. I grew up on this lake but have never had much luck personally. I had to skate out of work early, but I still didn't get on the lake until around 1PM. Mostly, the trip was to get on my float tube before the season started.

Didn't have much luck on this lake but I talked to a couple of guys on that day who said they caught their fair share of 'bows. Stopped by the launch the following day a talked to a couple more guys. Also said they caught their share. Looked like each group was using mostly worms.

It's a great lake. Getting out on the water and droppin' your line in is what it's all about. If something hits the end, it's just a bonus. Sounds like peeps are catching their fish, just not me. Time to re-evaluate my tactic.
