Hit the river early before sunrise and went 3/5, losing 2 nice fish to logs and releasing a good size nate jack. Kept two mid teener hens, which were all caught on eggs before the sun could induce lockjaw. Checked out the Log Jam and saw plenty of jacks milling around. No pics this time.

Nope, further up above 106 towards the log jam. If you want to catch some jacks, a lot are holding below the creek.

Hit the river one hour before sunrise to get to the best spots first. I'd try further up towards the logjam below Purdy Creek, or you could try the cedar hole down past the last gate on Hunter's Farm. If the tides cooperate, hit the Guard Rail hole at the mouth on the outgoing tide. Just be careful and cross back before you get stranded by the incoming tide. I've fished eggs at these spots and have done well on occasion.
