I got to the river at about 8am and collected up some snagged gear at low tide to replace some of the stuff I've lost out there. Say what you will but I see it as recycling. You're all welcome to find and use mine. At about 9 am I tried jigging for a bit with a pink and white jig and got nothing, so I switched to a fire tiger plug and started trolling. Finally about 11 I got my first hit and landed an 8 pounder, About an hour later switched to a red plug and hooked another but lost it when it jumped. so I left my line out and started paddling again and about 20 seconds later hooked another one about 7 pounds. trolled for another 30 minutes and Had to call it a day after that. Sitting in a kayak for that long can be very painfull.

Love finding snagged gear! Its almost as good as hookin a fish. some times you can pull in over $11 in gear on one retrieve. I actually pulled in 3 dick nites in one find, all close to brand new.
