Fished at 128th st bridge today. fished for about an 1.5 hours. No fish. I saw and old chum siting on the side lines but that was about it. I tied acouple more jigs, just went with marabou and some rubber legs. I lost the bottom one one my second cast. I think I am goin to try rubber bass skirts. I spend more time sifting for good feathers than tying, just to loose them quick. There is endless variations of colors and are ten times faster to put on.
When I got back to my truck someone decided they wanted to break into my truck. That is the second time in less then a year. That window will cost $162. That is a lot of jig material. They didn't take any of my boxes of lures/spinners I had under my seats. I guess they were just lookin for The roll of hundreds or the nice watch. I take all my stuff out of my truck before I leave just incase. I might start leaving my door unlocked with a sign on the window saying "door is unlocked please don't break window". Oh well, I'm still gonna keep fishin.

That does suck when you look around before heading to the river and have hope no one screws with stuff. Its going to be intresting to see how things go with the bass skirts not going to get quite the same action as the feathers.

You have a great attitude. Hang in there. I like the idea of the sign.

Procaster- I was just reading the latest BassMaster magazine. Page 10 gives solutions to theft loss for the big pros boats. Looks like www.twowayalarms.com or www.banditbuster.com may help. Make sure you have your Taurus Judge ready when you get back to your rig.

Parked on what was left of your window today. needless to say, worried about my truck more than I did fishing. Saw a few roll in the river but didn't get any nibbles. Tried floating a jig for the first time....no luck.

Had my truck window broke out twice while fishing. Once at the launch at Kapowsin and the other Ohop. There was nothing to take, but just like you, there was the cost of the window. Now I do the same thing...just leave my truck unlocked. Twice since then I found my truck rifled through, but there was nothing to steal, but most importantly, no damage done. A hell of a way to have to live.......

I had a real genius break my window on truck/try to steal a cheap in-dash player w/ NO faceplate on it. The worst thing, I left both windows about 1/3 down AND unlocked, yet they still broke the window and took <$5.00 in change i throw on the floor. Good thing they didn't rip off your tackle-boxes. Sure is expensive to have to re-gear-up!!!! Better luck next time!
