Hit the Sky with some friends this morning and after a few hours at the Wedding Ring hole, we decided to head downstream a bit. We ventured to some unchartered territory and found a nice hole where we could see some fish. After my buddy landed a couple of small chums, I decided to take a wack at his location and after a minor adjustment to my setup, I hauled in this BEAST on my first cast! A 20 minute battle ensued and every time I'd get him close to shore, he'd take a run out in the fast moving water. We didn't weigh him, but we're guessing 18+. Caught him on 10 pound test. I kept repeating "Patience Grasshopper..." And then we finally landed him! This is my first Chum, so I was pretty excited. But back into the Sky he went.
