Ventured down to the Skookumchuck today with my buddy Joe in hopes of hooking up some steelhead. Fishing was very flat. Guess that's to be expected after the heavy rain the past couple of days. The river is pretty blownout and milky looking. Still had fun. We fished from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 pm. Tried several holes with multiple colors of corkies and yarn slathered in shrimp oil, but no takers. Regardless, it's a beautiful place. Only saw one fish landed and one other hookup. Met some cool local fisherman. Thanks for making us feel welcome Rob. That was a sweet beast you hooked into (15-18 lbs range). It was exciting to see it go airborn. Too bad he got off! Tight Lines!!

Hey Chris, It's Joe I had a good time there but both of us were losing our gear left and right. As to Rob's fight that was a huge fish. As I saw it I was thinking to myself "you need to get on my line so we can have you". Ha
Hope to go fishing with you next season.
