Got to the river early around 4:30AM, and was fishing by 5AM. It was difficult to see my float in the dark, but I somehow managed to see my float dissapear on the fifth cast. Hooked up with a chrome bright hen, but unfortunately it had an extra fin. A half hour later, I hooked up again but lost it under some logs. The next few hours, I had quite a few swing and misses. Around 7AM, I finally hooked a dark keeper buck which inhaled my bait. A dozen cast later, float down again, resulting in a bonked hen. Noticed the fish had a preferance to a particular cure with an additional scent. Only saw one other fish caught, which was a jack on bobber and eggs. Left around 8AM.
