Fished just above the mouth of the Wallace passed sultan. Third time my dad and I have hit this part of the river. Previous attempts to no avail. I was slow retrieving a small dick nite and my dad was using spawn and float. Lots of activity but no takers. Just before we were ready to pack up we tried fishin the bottom with some spawn. My dad had a take and bam, fish on and drag screaming! Finally after many hours and days on this river and we have a hit! Must have been a weak spot in the line because fish broke the line clean after about 10 seconds of fighting :( saw 1 other fish caught under a float. About a 15lb king. Some silver activity but no takers. We know how to fish, we just are not that fimiliar with where to fish the river. Thanks to Natetreat for showing us this area!
