9/24/2012 12:02:00 PMI fished the same area Saturday for about 4.5 hours. I saw two /coho jump, bright silver and hundreds of kings jump. I saw one fish caught and saw another on the line. Fished the hole by the steel power lines where I hooked up with a silver last year. Trolled brads wigler and several Dick nites. No bites. I have the same feeling although I didnt see any swim by me. There was lots of boats on the water, lots of guide boats as there was the derby and the upper rivers are too low. I did have serveral big boats bomb by me too close, thats always fun. It reminded of pink season where there are too many inconsiderate people on the river.

9/24/2012 1:04:00 PMKings? You sure, I seen many Coho through there on the incoming tide. I've been fishing that river for over 25 years, good place to drink beer. Better places to catch fish for sure.

9/25/2012 2:51:00 PMI was in my boat by the mouth of pillchuck and all I saw where about a hundred fish break water and all where chrome silvers. Not one bootking... Hooked one lost it. Jiging the hole.
