Fishingboy..... Re-read your rules..... No weights added to line or lure... A jig is considered a lure.... Though I agree it may be a way to snag, perfectly legal to fish that way.....

Anti-Snagging Rule : Except when fishing with a buoyant lure (with no weights added to the line or lure), or trolling from a vessel or floating
device, terminal fishing gear is restricted to a lure or bait with one single-point hook. Hooks must measure ¾" or less from point to shank,
and must be attached to or below the lure or bait. Weights may not be attached below or less than 12" above the lure or bait.

Single point jigs are allowed.

I find that people who are quick to call someone out for snaggin because they have a jig are either

A. Correct because the person is snagging

B. In-Correct and very uninformed because Jiggin can easily be the most productive method of fishing and when executed properly rather free from the dangers of snagging.

It doesn't sound like you really care, but I always try to talk to people before calling "Gamies" or "Cops" on them. A lot of folks are just getting into fishing and need tips or help from people more experienced, I even try talking to people when snagging is clearly what is taking place, give folks the benefit of the doubt, if they still don't listen then I either kick their tackle in the water and act like it is an accident or I pee in a cup and "spill" it on them. Leave the officials out of it.

yer a friggin moron, anti snagging DOES NOT MEAN NO JIGS YOU IDIOT...I'm sick of all these fake fishermen that think they know what the heck they're talkin about posting comments about people who floss, now its jigs? pretty soon i'm going to have to jump in and catch them with my barehands just to prevent myself from getting the cops called on me....don't be jealous cause you don't know how to work the system.....https://fortress.wa.gov/dfw/erules/erules/erule.jsp?id=815...read this before you post rediculous comments like that...its mainly to prevent people from using the double corky rig, using treble hooks, and a snagging version of a texas rig you cannot have your weight closer than twelve inches to your lure...you call the cops on me when i'm jiggin at the hatchery you better run for your life because I WILL FIND YOU...I'M CRAZY LIKE THAT
