well i have been to the fortson hole quite a bit in the last month and done pretty good but today was non stop catching even though it was not all my target species still was a great day i was actually about a 1/4 mile down river from fortson hole and caught around 10 silvers one 5lb dolly beautiful fish and a bright as can be hatchery steelhead about 8 lbs had many more take downs using a float and jig but either missed them or got off it was a great day out there lots of fish pooled up at fortson hole you can see them swimming around but not biting thats why i went down river a little to find all these fish

good report, what color jig were you using plus how do you get to fortson, take swede heaven rd all the way down?

well i take the fortson mill rd and go back by the centenial trail or yes you can take a left by the shell station and follow that to 367th and take a left then follow to the end and i used purple and pink and a peach jig three differnt ones

yeah I have tried to get down there via fortson mill pond rd but it splits into 3 different ways so you take the middle one? I have never fished the stilly before always just the skagit system but with the cascade closed fortson might be a good option too. thanks
