Fished from Lewis Street down to Doug Bar. Had the whole family out today (wife, 8yo daughter, 3yo son). We didn't launch at Lewis until about 8:30. Saw several small groups of fish pushing through the shallows. Only a few plunkers on the bank at the Lewis Street launch. We hit all the normal holes on the way down or wherever we saw jumpers/rollers. Fish hit on a wide variety of gear. My wife got dialed in with a jig/float and kept hitting one fish after another. I admire her patience when the float goes under. Her timing is amazing. My daughter wanted to stick with the trout rod and landed three on her own after some long exciting fights.
The traffic was light up in the Sky, but picked up significantly once we got in the Snohomish. Under 522, Thomas Eddy, etc. were pretty busy, but no too bad. Seemed like a good group out there. We even passed a group of boats working a hole and they asked if we limited and if not, to squeeze in next to them and have at it. We were done but it was great to get the offer. Very classy. A fun day overall. Caught a bunch, released a bunch, kept three bright shiny ones for my dad to smoke.

Have fun everyone,

Scott

Great post Scott. What a way to spend the day with the family, everyone catching fish. Nicely done!
