Awesome day! Seemed like everybody I saw caught their limit. I hooked into around 20 of them - a few spit the hook, two broke the line (big ones!), let 3 go, gave 1 away and kept 4 for myself.

Some of them are getting humped up and slimey, but got a bunch for the smoker and 2 nice red ones for the BBQ!

Good job Pat. Remember, we met last year at Thomas Eddy fishing for silvers. Shoot me a PM next time you go, maybe I will join.

Hey bud, just an FYI, keeping 4 and giving 1 away is going over your limit and an illegal practice. Just for future reference...

As gnunes was saying, page 12 of the regs might help a little. The second part below says game fish but I think it applies to salmon too? I also once heard that both anglers must record the catch and that a signed note from the angler who caught the fish must be given to the receiving person. But i can't find that catch card part in the regs.

You may not:
Harvest any part of another person’s daily limit,
except for persons who possess a Designated
Harvester Card unless otherwise specified.

Possess another person’s Game Fish unless
it is accompanied by a statement showing the
name, address, license number, date, county,
and area where it was taken, and the signature
of the angler who harvested it.

Yeah...uh...you do know that the limit is 4, right? You've got at least 6 in the cooler. Were you fishing alone?

wasn't fishing alone, and uh. yes... I know the limit on pinks is 4. There's 8 on the stringer - 4 a piece.
