Slow day, so took a couple hours off work to see if I could find my first Coho. Fished from 12:30 to 2:30. Started casting Dick Nites for a while with no hits. Switched to jigs and spent about 45 minutes trying those with no result. Switched again to Dick Nites for the last half hour. About 15 minutes before I left I had a brief hookup. A few head shakes and it was gone. That was all the action I saw. A few other people fishing and fish were jumping, but none were getting caught.
I've been able to get on the water at least for a little bit every day this week and today was the first hit I've had in four days.

LOL. Yes, it was a beautiful afternoon. I'm trying to stay positive, but it's getting tough! :)

That is a start! I had a bump and flash up on the Sky around lunch today, they are coming! I got several big kings Sun-Mon over by Vernita though, but no Cohos locally yet! Good luck

Stick with it BR you know how well last year turned out. With the pinks having been late on the duwy Im hoping the silvers will be too and its not just that we are missing them. Im heading north this weekend, If you can make it either day give me a shout.

BR keep at it. They have been very picky this year. I have been bangin them out but never at one single spot, every time out I have had to drive around to three or four places before I found fish that were willing to go for it. There are fish in the whole system and big big bright ones too. I took a 12lb hen out this morning that was chrome and the biggest one yet for me this season on the green but again it was at the third place I went too. Jumpers and Rollers don't mean biters. If none of that works, use an 8 foot leader and floss them, I see that all over the place and it doesn't seem to bother the guys doing it...

Have you stuck right around 112th? The last time I was out I saw a few people doing well in the pool below the power lines

@Gwen, I've tried a couple other places, but same luck there. Just not the right spot at the right time I guess.
