9/29/2013 9:51:00 PMI've broke 2 clarus this year on the pinks. while I'm glad they have lifetime warranties (although I can't find anyone that honors the "over the counter" warranty anymore, I don't think I'll be buying anymore. I have a TFO rod that has taken way more abuse and can't see anything within reason snapping that rod. I might just be investing in more of those down the road. Or the Lami G1000 series which I have and love as well.

10/2/2013 11:19:00 AMI've been using a medium-weight Cabelas IM7 spinning rod and that thing just won't break. I was putting a TON of pressure on big humpies to keep them from running downstream & that little rod never wavered. (I kept the angle within a safe range,of course.)
